Brush 5 Assists Malvern with a Brush Fire

At 1817 hours on April 20th, 2021, East Whiteland Fire Company was requested along with Goshen Fire Company (Station 54/56) to assist the Malvern Fire Company (station 4) with a brush fire located on the 60 block of Line Road in Willistown Township. Relocate turns to assist 45/46 on the building fire.

On April 6th 2021, at 2026hrs, Station 5 was dispatched to relocate to theWest Whiteland Fire Company (station 6). Station 6 was dispatched to assist the Downingtown Fire Department stations 45/46 on a building fire at a recycling facility in the 500 block of Trestle Place in East Caln Township.

Thursday Night Training

New Desk, March 18

On Thursday, March 18th, members went to the station to assist a new member with hose line management training. Crews spent time pulling and packing the 200-foot attack line from Engine 5 while also practicing advancing hose lines.

Monday Drill Night- Tool Review

Firefighter Miles Carr, March 01

On Monday, March 1st, fourteen members lead by Lt. McCusker and "A" platoon Capt. Nafziger reviewed the tools on the engine and rescue and some of the supplies we carry on our ambulance. Most members attending this training are new to the fire service, so we spent time reviewing where to locate the tools on our apparatus and how to use them correctly.
