On Monday June 29, 2026, shortly after 2 PM, Station 5 Fire Police were called to assist the Berwyn Fire Company at the scene of an accident involving a tractor trailer. It is with great respect and admiration that we share the passing of Life Member John Robert Fitzgerald, who passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025, at the age of 91.

John’s life was defined by his unwavering dedication to his community through his many years of service with the East Whiteland Township Volunteer Fire Association and as a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Marines.
