The East Whiteland Fire Company was honored to receive a visit from the Kathryn D. Markley School 2nd grade class on Wednesday morning at Station 5. The students presented a check to our fire company for $827.00 which they earned from various projects. They were given a tour of the fire station including the apparatus, equipment, and various fire safety tips. The students with their teachers marched from the school to the fire station as an excursion. Our fire police provided security during the trip. We are grateful for the donation received and the efforts of the students. We are always happy to have a visit from our local students.
