We’d like to take this opportunity to relay some safety tips in order to ensure that everyone celebrates America’s birthday safely. KD Markley 2nd Grade Visits Station 5

The East Whiteland Fire Company was honored to receive a visit from the Kathryn D. Markley School 2nd grade class on Tuesday morning at Station 5. The students presented a check to our fire company for $661.00 which they earned from various projects. On Sunday, May 13th at approximately 6:30pm, the fire company received a call for a kitten stuck in the motor of a car on Sagewood Road in Charlestown Township. The kitten had wandered off from its mother and climbed into the engine mechanism of a car parked in a driveway. The members of the East Whiteland Fire Company congratulates Deputy Police Chief Chris Yeager to the appointment of Chief of Police. Chief Yeager has been a police officer with the East Whiteland Police Department for many years. He was sworn in at the May 9th monthly Board of Supervisors public meeting.
