KD Markley 2nd Grade Visits Station 5

The East Whiteland Fire Company was honored to receive a visit from the Kathryn D. Markley School 2nd grade class on Tuesday morning at Station 5. The students presented a check to our fire company for $661.00 which they earned from various projects. On Thursday May 24, 2018 Members of the East Whiteland Township Volunteer Fire Association provided training to a local business on the use of portable fire extinguishers. Interactive demonstrations allowed employees to gain experience extinguishing live fires.

On Sunday, May 13th at approximately 6:30pm, the fire company received a call for a kitten stuck in the motor of a car on Sagewood Road in Charlestown Township. The kitten had wandered off from its mother and climbed into the engine mechanism of a car parked in a driveway. No Caption Building Fire on Lapp Road

April 30th at 3:30pm

Firefighters were called for a transformer fire. Upon their arrival, they discovered that the electrical service to the building was on fire. This required an upgrade to a building fire response.
