Serious Accident with Entrapment on King and Frazer Roads JANUARY 23 - At approximately 14:39 hrs (2:39), Station 5 and Medic 4 (Malvern) were alerted to the area of King Rd and Frazer Rd for an accident with reported entrapment. Deputy 5 (E. Nowaczyk) and Chief 5 (K. Hurley) arrived on location and advised of one vehicle into a telephone pole with the driver of the vehicle trapped, with two additional occupants to be checked by EMS. Station 5 Travels to Berwyn to Assist on the Working Dwelling Fire JANUARY 23 - At around 12:30 am, the Berwyn Fire Company (Station 2) was dispatched along with Stations 3 (Paoli) and Delaware County 15 (Radnor) for a house fire in the 200 block of Devonshire Rd, Tredyffrin Township. Cub Scouts Learn Fire Safety JANUARY 20 - Cub Scouts or future firefighters spent the night learning fire safety. This group of Cub Scouts earned the title of Junior Firefighter from the East Whiteland Fire Company as they learned many different aspects of fire safety. Early Morning Fatal Accident JANUARY 20 - At 00:45 hrs (12:45 am), East Whiteland crews along with Medic 4 (Malvern) were dispatched to an accident reported serious at the intersection of King Road and Route 352. Ambulance 5-1 arrived onscene and found a one vehicle accident and one occupant in cardiac arrest.
