Route 202 Traffic Accidents

The East Whiteland Fire Company responded to a traffic accident at 4:21 Friday afternoon to mile-marker 17.3 south-bound on Route 202 in East Whiteland Township. The collision took place in the left lane along the barrier. While emergency responders were on the scene, a secondary collision took place in the right lane with two vehicles involved. Saint-Gobain training on construction materials

Last Monday, Lucas Hamilton from Saint-Gobain stopped by the firehouse to give members a refresher on current and upcoming construction technologies for the weekly training. This informational session was split into a 40 minute class and a 30 minute hands-on period where members were able to get a feel and close-up look of these materials. Tractor Trailer Stuck

The East Whiteland Fire Police were dispatched to assist the Schuylkill Township Police Department Wednesday morning at 9:08 for traffic control. A tractor trailer attempting to make a turn near Clothier Springs Road and Ashenfelter Road became stuck and had to be pulled out. Monday Storm Related Calls

After several days of warning about severe storms on Monday, the East Whiteland Fire Company was prepared and ready with additional personnel at Station 5. It all started at 1:33 p.m. with wires sparking on the Rail Road behind 286 Lancaster Ave, which was caused by high winds prior to the storm. Route 30 Traffic Accident

News Desk, June 18

A busy weekend for the East Whiteland Fire Company, including a traffic accident Sunday afternoon at 3:15, on Route 30 just east of Planebrook Road in East Whiteland Township. Ambulance 5-2 transported to a local hospital while Engine 5-1, Traffic 5 and Fire Police provided traffic control at the scene. Thanks to motorists for their cooperation during the incident....
