On Wednesday, November 30th at 2001 hours (8:01 PM), the East Whiteland Fire Company, along with mutual aid, was dispatched to the 300 block of Piper Lane in East Whiteland Township for the report of a house fire with possible entrapment. On the arrival of Engine 5, Captain 5-A reported that there was an exterior fire and all occupants were clear from the structure. The fire was quickly brought under control and Chester County Fire Marshalls were requested to the scene.
Mutual aid companies assisted with checking for fire extension and when the incident was deemed under control they were released from the assignment.
This incident is under investigation by the East Whiteland Township Fire Marshals and the Chester County Fire Marshals.
