Members of the East Whiteland Fire Company gathered at Station 5 on Monday evening for mass transit training. After a slide presentation in our training room, members were able to tour the bus and receive instructions on all aspects of safety procedures in the event of an emergency incident. We would like to thank SEPTA Safety Officer/Fire Marshal John Townsend and SEPTA Transportation Manager Jose Canales from SEPTA (Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority) for their efforts and for bringing the bus to our station. A very worthwhile evening to increase our knowledge and awareness of the SEPTA mass transit system.
