This past weekend, members from Station 5 attended a two-day, 16-hour course on Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) training hosted by the Berwyn Fire Company (Station 2).

RIT training is designed around rescuing firefighters from potential emergencies that could occur during operations. Firefighter emergencies include firefighter assessment and removal, low-air emergencies, and below-grade or upper-floor/roof rescues.

A special thank you goes out to the Berwyn Fire Company for hosting the training and the Chester County Public Safety Training Center for instructing the course.
