Residential Rescue - East Whiteland Township

On Saturday, May 6th, 2023, at 19:44 hours (7:44 PM), the East Whiteland Fire Company was dispatched to the 500 block of Conestoga Road for an residential rescue. The initial report was that there was a person stuck under a riding lawnmower, upon arriving on the scene Captain 5B confirmed the report and ask Chester County Department of Emergency Services 9-1-1 Center to add an ALS (Advance Life Support) ambulance to the call. This brought MICU 87-3 to the scene from Uwchlan Ambulance Corps (Station 87) and requested an additional Rescue to the scene from Lionville Fire Company (Station 47). Crews were successfully able to extract the person from under the riding mower and transported them to the hospital.
Crews operated on the scene for approximately two hours before returning available.
