The first call was dispatched at approximately 1600 hours (4:00 PM) to a building on Village Way due to the odor and sight of smoke. Once crews arrived on scene they investigated the source of the smoke and found no active fire. The source of the smoke was found to be a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system issue.

The second call was located on the 700 block of Lancaster Avenue and was initially dispatched as a fire alarm activation at approximately 1735 hours (5:35 PM) and was quickly upgraded to a building fire by Captain 5C.
