On a picture-perfect early fall day, members of the East Whiteland Fire Company traveled to Plymouth Township, Montgomery County, to pay respects to Plymouth Police Officer Bradley Fox, who was killed in the Line of Duty last Thursday. At the service, Station 5 members were joined with hundreds of other law enforcement officers, firefighters, and first responders, who all came to pay respect to the man who lost his life after dedicating it to his nation and his community. Following the Catholic Mass, Squad 5 took part in the funeral procession to the cemetery to honor the life of a true hero. Fox was ambushed, shot and killed by a gunman while searching for a hit-and-run driver in Plymouth last week. Before joining the police force, he was a 2-tour Veteran of the Iraq war, serving his country as a Marine. He leaves behind his pregnant wife, Lynsay, and 5-moth old daughter. A trust fund has been set up for Officer Fox's family and donations can be made to: Fox Children's Fund
To Officer Fox: Thank you for your service and all you've done to protect us - whether it be overseas or at home in your local community. Rest in Peace Ofc. Bradley Fox 44-178 |
