On Friday, September 2nd, 2022, the East Whiteland Fire Company was dispatched at 14:30 hours (2:30 PM) in the area of Sidley Road and Lee Boulevard for a tractor-trailer vs. a telephone pole. Upon arrival, Rescue 5 confirmed wires down on the road with the driver out of the tractor-trailer and safe.

The loss of power triggered a nearby Fire Alarm which the on-scene crews were able to address while PECO worked to resolve the downed power line.

Thanks to the Goshen Fire Company, who assisted with traffic control.
