On Sunday morning, June 5th, 2022, the East Whiteland Fire Company was invited to a Touch-A-Truck event held at Great Valley Middle School. This event was created and run by the Sugartown Elementary Parent Teachers Organization (PTO). Attendees were able to look into the tools on Engine 5 and see what our firefighters use every day. Later Sunday afternoon, the East Whiteland Fire Company was given the opportunity to join the 154th Malvern Memorial Day Parade. Engine 5 was part of the annual procession through Malvern that has been an annual tradition through the Borough. Station 5 Fire Police were also present at the parade to assist with traffic control while the parade was happening.
