The East Whiteland Fire Company is pleased to have a new piece of training equipment thanks to John Porter from Scout Troop 76. This new training equipment is a model of Engine 5's cross lay section. John created the model of the cross lay for his Eagle Scout project and since the time of this post has achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. John's model can be used by members at any time to practice loading and unloading the cross lay without having to take Engine 5 out of service in order to do so. If you see John in the community, please be sure to say congratulations. Thank you John and congratulations!
