The East Whiteland Fire Company was dispatched Saturday afternoon to a house fire on Madeline Drive, off of King Road, in East Whiteland Township. Upon arrival smoke was seen from the roof and rear of the dwelling. Quick work by arriving companies proved beneficial in stopping the fire.
