The East Whiteland Fire Company, along with the Phoenixville Fire Company and other responders attended training this week at the Norfolk Southern Rail Yard in King of Prussia, Pa. The training event, sponsored by Norfolk Southern Railway Company, provided responders with important information when responding to emergencies on the rail lines. Norfolk Southern has a specific train dedicated to training emergency responders. The train travels to various locations with company personnel as instructors.
