The East Whiteland Fire Company and Medic 4 were dispatched Friday morning at 9:21 AM for a traffic accident with entrapment on Route 29. The location turned out to be the Great Valley off ramp of Route 202 in East Whiteland Township. The vehicle left the off ramp and collided with a tree well off the highway area. The patient had to be extricated from the vehicle and was transported by EMS. East Whiteland Tactical Fire Police had the difficult task of slowing down expressway traffic coming off of Route 202 and directing them cautiously around emergency vehicles on the side of the ramp. Great job by Abel Brothers towing in loading the vehicle and transporting from an off-road area.
