Due to the amount of snow we received, it will be a couple days before we can all get back to normal. In the meantime, please be aware that whatever snow melts during the day will re-freeze on roadways at night, causing a very dangerous driving situation. Please allow extra travel time and yield to snow plows and clean-up crews on the highways. We promoted clearing hydrants in your neighborhoods to help the fire department in the event of a fire emergency, and still ask your help with that task. The hydrant in this photo was cleared by one of our own active members in their neighborhood, after spending the weekend helping at the fire station. We would like to thank motorists for cooperating during this difficult time and our community residents for helping clear hydrants.
