East Whiteland Fire Company personnel were busy on Sunday visiting residential district locations for Fire Prevention Week, handing out fire safety information and showing children the fire engine and equipment.

East Whiteland Fire Police were also managing traffic at the GVFL Fall Festival to ensure a safe and fun time for all. A helicopter dropped ping-pong balls into the festival area which contained numbers for prizes. The weather was perfect and all efforts were a success.
