Area fire departments recently joined together in a Tanker Class given by state fire instructor Mike Risell. The companies involved were Valley Forge, Malvern, East Whiteland, Paoli, Lionville, and Kimberton. The purpose of the class was to instruct firefighters on the operation of tankers in the event of a major fire where the tankers would be providing a supply of water. The class was concluded Saturday August 9th. Many thanks to everyone involved. It was a very worthwhile and successful training course.
