The New Engine 5-1 Placed Into Service

We are proud to announce the placing into service of the new Engine 5-1! Engine 5-1 is a 2014 Marion Custom attack pumper on a Spartan Metro Star chassis with a 10" raised roof and seating for 6 firefighters. The body is an all aluminum body with full depth compartments. Engine 5-1 carries 750 gallons of water and has a 2000 gallon-per-minute pump.

Engine 5-1 was purchased from Allen Cleaver from Continental fire apparatus.
Gold Leaf and letter was completed by Danz lettering.

Engine 5-1 was placed in service on Friday, June 27th, 2014 at 21:00hrs (9 pm) by Chester County Fireboard dispatcher 481.
