Station 5 again started the day off at 7 AM with a fire alarm at a local hotel.

7:30 AM Ambulance 5-2 was dispatched to an emotional disorder

9:20 AM Station 5 was dispatched to 18.4 Southbound 202 for auto accident unknown injuries. Ambulance 5-2 quickly made the response. Chester County Fireboard reported 2 vehicles with one to be checked and one vehicle blocking. Ambulance 5-2 arrived on location with 2 vehicles on the shoulder and 1 vehicle still in the middle of the highway. Engine 5-2 made the response. While responding Ambulance 5-2 requested the engine to take the slow and middle lanes of the highway. Engine 5-2 arrived on location and blocked the slow and middle lanes and requested the PennDOT Safety Truck to assist with removing the vehicle and fire police. Once the PennDOT Safety Truck arrived, The truck was able to push the vehicle onto the shoulder. Engine 5-2 crew quickly cleaned the debris from the highway. Engine 5-2 the took the blocking position on the shoulder till the ambulance transported 1 to Paoli Hospital.

12:03 Station 5 was dispatched to a local hotel for a fire alarm. While Engine 5-1 was responding to the fire alarm Chester County Fire Board alerted Station 5 to a second fire alarm at Immaculata University. Engine 5-2 quickly made the response to handle the second fire alarm. Engine 5-1 cleared the first fire alarm with a false alarm and responded at a reduced rate to assist Engine 5-2. Engine 5-2 crew cleared with dust from cleaning.

12:39 While units were returning from the Immaculata fire alarm. Station 5 was dispatched to an auto accident at the intersection of Lancaster Ave and Route 202 northbound exit ramp. Engine 5-2 responded while Chief arrived on location and reported 3 vehicles involved blocking the eastbound lanes and the exit ramp. Chief 5 requested fire police for traffic control. Engine 5-2 arrived taking a blocking position and began to asses the drivers for injuries. Ambulance 5-2 arrived on location and took over assessing the one driver while the engine crew began the cleanup. Ambulance 5-2 transported 1 driver to Paoli Hospital. Engine 5-2 and the Fire Police remained till the road was cleared and open.

1:54 PM Station was dispatched for another fire alarm. Engine 5-1 quickly made the response. Engine 5-1 arrived and found the alarm to be accidental and returned to quarters.

3:30 PM Engine 5-1 headed to the Borough of West Chester to cover for Stations 51 First West Chester Fire Company, 52 Good Will Fire Company, 53 Fame Fire Company.

Engine 5-1 crew was joined by Delco Truck 17 Aston Township Fire Department, Engine 49-1 and Deputy 49 East Brandywine Fire Company. Crews enjoyed a meal together provided by the West Chester Fire Department from the Riggtown Oven. While cleaning up from dinner, Units were dispatched to Barn Hill Road in station 51's first due area for a Fire alarm. All units quickly responded. Deputy 49 arrived on location with a 2 story single family dwelling, crews found it to be burnt food on the stove and cleared the scene. While crews were relaxing and trading stories, Units were dispatched to Cambridge Hall Apartments for a fire alarm. All units quickly responded. Engine 5-1 arrived with a 2 Story apartment building evacuated. Crews again found burnt food and ventilated the apartment. Crews then returned. At mid-night Engine 5-1 and Delco Truck 17 headed back to the first run districts leaving the Borough to Engine 49-1 and the Deputy for the evening
