East Whiteland Fire Company was called to assist the West Whiteland Fire Company with a structure fire located on Brookview Road in West Whiteland Township. The fire was reported at 2:21am on Friday, December 1st. First arriving units discovered a rancher style home with heavy fire through the roof. East Whiteland firefighters stretched hose lines and attacked the fire with other units. After making the initial attack, firefighters had to open up walls and ceilings to check for extensions of fire. Also assisting at the scene was the Lionville Fire Company and the Uwchlan Ambulance Company.
