The East Whiteland Fire Company responded to a traffic accident on the Pennsylvania Turnpike Wednesday afternoon at 3:24 west-bound to mile-marker 316. At 6:52 p.m. the company was dispatched to Route 202 south-bound, north of Route 30 at the start of the construction zone for a two vehicle collision. Engine 5-2, Ambulance 5-2, Traffic 5, Squad 5 and Fire Police were on the scene. Upon clearing 202, the company responded to a two vehicle collision at Route 401 and Phoenixville Pike in East Whiteland Township, with Engine 5-2, Ambulance 5-2, Squad 5, Traffic 5 and Fire Police for traffic control at the scene.
