The East Whiteland Fire Company responded to a vehicle fire on Monday evening at Route 29 and Swedesford Road in East Whiteland Township. A dual wheel pick-up truck was well involved in fire in the travel lane at the intersection. A quick response and fine work by firefighters on Engine 5-1 and an extra water supply from Engine 5-5 was in place. Chief 5, Deputy 5C, and Fire Police were also at the scene.
