The East Whiteland Fire Company responded to a report of a strange odor coming from a storage unit at Extra Space Storage on Lancaster Avenue in East Whiteland Township on Tuesday at 4:16 p.m. Crews discovered vapors from cleaning materials and eliminated any threat to the building and area. Engine 5-1, Ambulance 5-2, Engine 5-2, and Traffic 5 were on the scene.
