The East Whiteland Fire Company responded to a traffic accident Tuesday afternoon on Route 202 south-bound near the Great Valley exit ramp, then late Tuesday night on Phoenixville Pike where a vehicle struck a ground power transformer unit just south of Yellow Springs Road in East Whiteland Township. Phoenixville Pike was temporarily closed during the incident.
