The East Whiteland Fire Company is happy to support Pennsylvania State Representative Duane Milne's Environmental Stewardship Day being held Saturday May 6, 2017, from 9 a.m. to 12 Noon, at the Penn State Great Valley Campus, 30 Swedesford Road in East Whiteland Township. The event will be held in the parking lot and will include shredding services for sensitive documents and personal records, to safeguard identity theft. The East Whiteland Township Police Department will be there to collect any unused prescription drugs. Other items being collected are electronic devices, eyeglasses which will be redistributed by the Lions Club, and cell phones and chargers to benefit victims of domestic violence.
