The East Whiteland Fire Company was dispatched for a building fire Wednesday morning at 07:07, along with Malvern Fire Company/Medic/Ambulance, Goshen Fire Company and Berwyn Fire Company. First arriving units at the William Henry Apartment Complex on King Road advised a kitchen fire with smoke inside the building. The fire was quickly suppressed. Chief 5, Deputy 5C, Engine 5-1, Ambulance 5-1, Fire Police, East Whiteland Township Fire Marshals, and East Whiteland Township Police were all on the scene while other responding apparatus was recalled. Great job by responders. We thank the other departments for their assistance and quick response.
