We welcome Daylight Saving Time at 2 a.m. Sunday March 12, 2017 by turning our clocks Forward - One Hour. Its also a great time to change batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. Alarms should be replaced if the manufacture date is 10 years or older. Test the alarms and conduct an exit escape drill with your family to ensure that everyone knows what to do if there is a fire or alarms sounding in the home. There is no time to wait or delay, get everyone out of the building and call 9-1-1. The East Whiteland Fire Company urges you to be Fire Safe and remember that alarms do save lives.
