The East Whiteland Fire Company and the East Whiteland Township Police Department arrived at the KD Markley School in East Whiteland Township Thursday morning to show students the fire apparatus, equipment, and police vehicle. The students enjoyed learning about both emergency departments, equipment, vehicles, and the tour given by emergency personnel. Included in the tour and showcase was East Whiteland Fire Company's newest Ambulance 5-2 and East Whiteland Police Department's newest Ford Special Police Pursuit vehicle demonstrated by Officer Cecil Abel. The students had many questions and learned quite a lot about the emergency services in our community. Thanks to everyone involved for making this visit possible.
