The East Whiteland Fire Police responded Saturday at 2:13 p.m. to assist the Kimberton Fire Company. Due to a dump truck overturned on Charlestown Road near Tree Lane in Charlestown Township, East Whiteland Fire Police Captain Tommy Cockerham (5-30), and Traffic 5 with Lieutenant Randy Cockerham (5-31) and Sergeant Tony DiPiano (5-32), closed Charlestown Road at Hollow Road while assisting with traffic direction and helping heavy tow trucks with access to the scene. Kimberton Fire Company and Fire Police were on the scene and handling traffic north of the incident.

We are very grateful for the prompt and professional work of Abel Brothers Towing in helping get the scene cleared so responders could be available for other calls and in getting the road open for traffic for residents and motorists.
