A busy Friday for the East Whiteland Fire Company. After returning from the traffic accident on Route 29, the company was dispatched for a brush fire on Pikeland Road in Charlestown Township at 7:44 p.m. Brush 5, Engine 5-1, Ambulance 5-2, and Fire Police were on location. The fire was located in a leaf pile on a private lane and was extinguished.
