An alarm for a garage fire was dispatched at 10:35 a.m. Sunday morning on Clothier Springs Road south of Howell Road in Charlestown Township. Initial companies alerted were East Whiteland, Malvern, Valley Forge, and Berwyn Fire Companies. A report indicated the fire had been knocked down, confirmed by Valley Forge Chief units on the scene. Firefighters employed a positive pressure fan to help ventilate smoke from the garage. East Whiteland Chief 5, Engine 5-1 and Engine 5-5 were on the scene with fire police providing traffic control.
