A Priceless Moment

In all the efforts of the fire department such as fighting fires, working on the highway, fire prevention and fire safety programs, there is something else with just as much value. As our East Whiteland engine was responding to an emergency call on Monday, the engine was recalled and while turning around on Knollbrook Circle, the crew decided to stop. Firefighter/Engineer Beenay Patel, Firefighter/EMS Lieutenant Paul Tripp Brown, and Firefighter/EMT Mike Pisano, noticed a young boy who seemed very interested in the fire engine. The crew took the opportunity to greet the young boy and show him the engine and the various tools and equipment. They even let him walk around inside the cab to experience the full effect of being part of the team. We are very proud of our crew for recognizing a priceless moment, and we are very grateful to serve such a wonderful community.
