The East Whiteland Fire Police were dispatched early Monday afternoon for traffic control on King Road east of Route 352 for a large tree across the road on active power lines. Detours were established east bound at Madeline Drive and west bound at Line Road. Due to the importance of King Road being a major transportation route and a Septa commercial transportation route, we wanted to provide as many updates as possible on our Facebook page throughout the event, which lasted almost 12 hours. We appreciate the patience and cooperation from motorists and residents, and thanks to our fire police officers dedicated to public safety. The tree was removed late Monday night.
