An emergency dispatch for the East Whiteland Fire Company at 3:40 AM Saturday reporting a traffic accident on Route 202 North of Route 401 in East Whiteland Township. The original caller reported the incident in West Whiteland Township, however the accident was located on Route 202 just South of Route 401 in East Whiteland Township. A motorist hit a deer crossing the highway in very heavy fog with the operator swerving and hitting the left wall then coming to rest on the far right lane. The vehicle was involved in fire but the operator was able to exit the vehicle. The East and West Whiteland Fire Companies were on the scene with West Whiteland Police, Pennsylvania State Police, and traffic control by East and West Whiteland Fire Police. Abel Brothers Towing removed the vehicle.
