The annual Great Valley Shred Event was held at the Penn State Campus on East Swedesford Road in East Whiteland Township, Saturday April 30th and sponsored by Pennsylvania State Representative Duane Milne. Traffic control was coordinated by East Whiteland Fire Police Events Marshal Jim Skymba with fire police assistance from East Whiteland, Goshen, and Paoli fire companies. East Whiteland Fire Company member Mike Matkovic hosted a table to greet participants and hand out recruitment and donation information for the fire company. East Whiteland Fire Company Deputy Chief Chris Strauss was on hand to assist and encourage the efforts of the event. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed.
